My name’s Dillon Hulse, and I’m a multimedia journalist, writer, and composer from Atlanta, GA.

I grew up in Decatur, GA and moved to California after high school to pursue acting for film and theater. I’ve worked a variety of jobs during this time, but my focus on writing, videography and music composition has remained constant.

I’ve contributed to many video projects over the years, including music videos and documentaries, and developed a steady hand as a camera operator.

I graduated from Long Beach State with a BA in journalism and am eager to pursue a path in media that ever endeavors to seek truth and promote the human stories in our world that need to be heard.

While in school, I focused on multimedia journalism by learning how to write for broadcast and by working as part of the Campus Connection news team to shoot, edit, report and write news. I also acquired experience in video game design and sports broadcasting by joining organizations on campus dedicated to those fields.

I love documenting the journey of people through film, photography and long-form journalism. Stories which explore the human condition through these lenses are so valuable. Long-term, I’d like to work towards shooting documentary films, maintaining a podcast or YouTube channel for content I’m interested in, becoming a staff photographer for a newspaper, or covering professional sporting events on either side of the camera.

From writing to shooting and editing video to creating pictures, I look forward to working collaboratively to create memories, bring knowledge to people around the world, and enrich the lives of those who follow the projects I’m involved with.
