Music in film was a revelation for me from a young age, and it’s always been my biggest inspiration as a composer. Appropriately, my style revolves around a mixture of orchestral arrangements and electronic layers.
Growing up, I enjoyed composers such as John Williams, James Horner, Danny Elfman, Jerry Goldsmith, David Arnold, and Howard Shore as some of my earliest heroes, and I ever-aspire to that quality in my own work. Other notable influences include Yoko Kanno, Hans Zimmer, Sahashi Toshihiko, Yuki Kajiura, Nobuo Uematsu, Thomas Newman, Hiroyuki Sawano, and Shirō Sagisu, all of whom have graced my ear with many gifts and lessons along the way.
I program instrumental music with an emphasis on scoring for media and hip hop production, which are where my strengths lie. My calling is in scoring, yet at the same time, my work in hip hop has allowed me to experiment and contribute my own flavor to the genre, collaborate with some very gifted artists, and gain invaluable experience in the industry.

Music for VGDA Project “Spreading Suns” – 12/2018
I dipped my toes into game design during my 2018 fall semester at Long Beach State by joining the Video Game Development Association (VGDA). I performed sound design duties for the top-down shooter, “Spreading Suns,” composing music, recording vocal assets and creating sound effects for the final product.
Our team met up once a week to work on the game, and we also communicated remotely by sharing our individual progress in Trello and monitoring both asset management and version control in Sourcetree; it was a blast collaborating with my team’s artists and programmers and watching all the elements come together. I also attended multiple workshops throughout the semester, exploring such applications as Unity and GitHub, which are crucial to the game development process.
