Photography

My work behind the camera will be a lifelong pursuit. I love the technique and artistry required to create compelling pictures, and training as a photojournalist has compelled me to become more observant and present while holding a camera in order to capture the elusive decisive moments.

I developed a lot as a photographer by taking the Photojournalism and Advanced Photojournalism classes at Long Beach State and officially learning how to operate DSLR cameras. I’ve been developing my eye for years, but I’m happy to now have a better understanding of the exposure triangle and the science of photography.
